Hi All,
have a greater Tonproblem with me about 2 1 / 2 years old MiniDV camcorder (JVC DR-DVX407 EC).
In my photographs there are always sound skips, ie it is for a few seconds (sometimes even longer synonymous) nothing at all to hear. It usually runs like this:
Sound 5 sec - 3 sec no sound - sound 5 sec - 3 sec no sound - ...
The video playback is s.diesen agencies in order.
In the beginning was synonymous still all right, but now the audio dropouts are so serious that they occupy about 60% of the time.
It is synonymous in part, that an 60 minute recording 50 minutes of sound and constantly exposes the remaining 10 mintues, everything is fine.
've Already 3-4 different brands of MiniDV cassettes (including cleaning cassette) tried, but the problem remains the same. Perhaps there is indeed a very good recommendation for cassettes?
What can I do? I have already searched through half the internet for similar problems, but found nothing concrete.
Perhaps someone has an idea?

Hello,
when the problem occurs? In the recording, the sound that is already missing on the tape? Or only when you play, that is, the sound has indeed been recorded, but when you play there will be dropouts? - Can you test this with another MiniDV unit?
When it comes to the playback Tonausfällen? Do you play via Firewire (or USB for example) into the calculator one? Or you give the tape directly over an AV cable on a television again?

I do notice the Tonfehler during playback. Ie no preference whether I look at the recordings directly s.Camcorders, s.Television (via AV cable) or s.Calculator (Firewire) look, it's always the same problem!
How could I recognize that the sound even in the absence of the Recording?
Unfortunately, I have no way to test it other MiniDV devices.

This strongly suggests that the Tonfehler were recorded, but I'm not sure s.dieser body. The reproduction of a defective MiniDV tape with a second device had now made clear.
Come on, the sound skips always exactly s.denselben jobs? How to listen to old tapes, of which you know that the sound is ok?

Audio dropouts seem to be completely wirrkürlich.
Older tapes (2 years ago) still work perfectly (if I do now synonymous) with the camcorders reproduce. then speaks the most synonymous rather that happens, the error in the recording.
It is synonymous with time become increasingly schlimmmer. tapes of a year ago, only a few dropouts, but a tape, which I had bought for me last week and have used this weekend, is full of audio dropouts!

Hello,
if Tonfehler despite multiple use of a cleaning cartridge with time and experience will be getting worse, the camcorder could be ripe for a maintenance or repair.
