Frage von Glak:Hi,
I have a Twinhan MagicBox (External DVB-T receiver) with associated software (VisionDTV).
Problem: When I hereby record TV, it is often the appropriate. Mpg error, which manifests in the fact that for example a 90-minute recording of the Windows Media Player displays only 15 minutes in length. Are reached, the recording while running next, but the progress bar below is completely s.end (right), and I can no longer coils.
Particularly annoying: I Burn the. Mpg to a DVD-RW and she wants me to watch on the DVD player, it rises from this point s.genau
The Media Player Classic and VideoLAN comically show the correct length, and make no problems. On the Calculator so I have at least one alternative, but not on the DVD player.
Weiss jemand Rat? Maybe the header is broken, and how can I fix it? Or is there an alternative to the Twinhan software, which I do not particularly like anyway?
Thanks schonmal
Glak

The answer to your problems is
ProjectX. This tool has given me in the clean processing of TV MPEG2 files already done good service. It is a JAVA application. On the homepage, you unfortunately can not find the executable files, so you you the whole thing with the help of a simple Instructions and the freely available Java Software Development Kit / Standard Edition (SDK-SE) must compile it yourself. Is however reasonably easy. Maybe there's so synonymous now someone who is already offering a komplilierte version.

Hi and thanks for the reply:)
Am I right time tonight to try ... synonymous with the best intentions when I do not know how to compile it. But this can hopefully find out ...
But what is really the cause of my problem?
Antwort von chrisgau:
Well ... of times, I quote the website:
In digital television, the television image is compressed before the broadcast and sent as digital data stream (MPEG2 Transport Stream). The MPEG2 transport stream, although belonging to the family of MPEG2 standards, but should be converted before further processing, since the establishment of a MPEG2 transport stream is different.
Here, the program Project X comes into play. The method is similar to that of an MPEG-2 TS hardware decoder, while Project X has the split MPEG2 transport stream into its components (MPEG elementary streams - video, audio and other data). When you disconnect the MPEG2 transport stream will also check for errors in the stream and synchronized.
Should read ... ProjectX sanitized and clean up your file. This can also synonymous still perform a separation of Picture and Sound (demux). This can be of most DVD authoring programs (such as DVD-Lab) handle better / more reliable.
Your file probably has a few sync errors which can probably besete ProjectX.
The program is certainly not a look and feel highlight, but useful as a Swiss jackknife.

Okay, I'll now rumfrickeln dinner time a bit:)
De-mux and re-join with TMPGEnc, I had also tried before, but this did not work.
Get me to sign with the result again:)

I'll believe it. So find ProjectX yes synonymous place some checks that will ensure that the Endgerbenis a 100% standards compliant is MPEG data stream. Exactly that is not the fact.
Enjoy ;-) fiddle around with.
