Frage von sombra:Hello,
have now a Panasonic NV-GS180EG newly-purchased SCamcorder.
I have a question regarding transfer of the camera to my PC.
It even gives the possibility to transfer data via USB 2.0 cable to transfer (wire) is already included or via Firewire (not supplied).
In Saturn, the saleswoman told me that if the data via USB cable
be transmitted, the quality will be scaled down because of the high
Dataset. Only via Firewire would be the data "raw land" on the hard drive, since this interface for the transfer of large amounts of data is appropriate. So this would be the only way to make an accurate data transfer.
With Panasonic, I have asked and responded to me:
"The USB transfer is not changed the picture in a worse format. The transfer of the films) is in 720x576 pixel (*. avi format."
So exactly the opposite of the shop in the Saturn!
Now my question: what is right? I still wonder, as I so we decided to further invest in a Firewire card, complete with cable. My calculator only has USB 2.0. I want to have ensured the highest possible quality of transmitted data.
Thanks in advance.
Sincerely,
sombra
