Frage von GALAXOR:Hello experts, I myself am a networker and need advice and help: I want to send to someone who posts s.Fernsehsender to create a solution that he put his video (DV-cam) via data link transmitter sends to LIVE. However, I would have to know how big the average such as a video: a half-hour format is DV-cam and whether this has to be transmitted as raw data or compression options are, where the video but has a good to very good broadcast quality.
As a transport, I have a 2Mbit ATM management company in the eye, which has a continuous Bandbreitengaratie. I thank you in advance views
Antwort von Rudy01:
A half-hour DV = approx 6.5 - 7 GB.
1 minutes = about 220 MB.
Why not simply store the material on a password protected FTP server, then call the station when it is ready, and can download it from the transmitter. Did the sender may be a T1 line? Then there is no problem.
This could even be constantly add new passwords, it is impossible that a self-service. It could be synonymous with a website set up access via password.
Compression? Zip does not help much, and compression of the image (eg MPEG-2) make the material definitely Sendeuntauglich.
