Hi folks!
I would like to go to New Zealand in the winter and take my Canon 5D and usmeine XHA1s II. Since the two fragments already hit hard in the luggage account, now I need a lightweight travel tripod reltiv, perhaps with swivel Plateu (not a must), the weight can keep synonymous and not too much bulk.
Does anyone have a good tip for me?

eg Slik Sprint PRO EZ with Manfrotto 701HDV (1 / 4 "is necessary for 3 / 8" adapter). This is a very light, but unfortunately not quite synonymous stable solution ;-)

I take only one synonymous SLR camera and a waterproof Knipsi with in the holidays (both with HD movie function but I photograph to 99%). Before, I was still Lenses and Flash there - I now have only one lens (18-50mm f/2.8) fixed on it (with a homemade variable ND filter). In addition to the tripod has the shoulder rest of China is very successful and therefore they should with the holidays ;-)
All in all, weighs about 3kg and fits comfortably in your hand luggage.

So I'm on the advice for travel where weight is critical Bilora brought the 936 PRO. I was surprised how stable it is and yet how the head in relation to the purchase price works. It weighs 3.2 pounds, has a carrying case and this very important point: The head is with a proprietary bowl very quickly and firmly synonymous leveling. The latter is unique in the price-and weight class.
I thought my Sachtler is better, but synonymous 40 times as expensive and three times as heavy.

I had first feared synonymous. But I can work with an EX1 and a 5DMk2 so really surprisingly good. Have read that it synonymous with the ability to swivel the head to be appointed not so good. I could not confirm. Was at least as good as a Manfrotto with 501 head (which of course is not so good). Perhaps this is the series dispersion is greater and I have caught a better copy. But what does one expect synonymous for 115 ¬?
Important that 3.2 kilos over long distances can still take very good in the hand and is that the tripod is synonymous with his little half-shell built up very quickly. A 4-pound tripod may seem at first glance hardly serious, but on long distances uphill or on foot the additional weight of my experience is more likely to ensure that the thing then the more frequently in the trunk remains.
I would still recommend the Manfrotto 561B monopod. The synonymous guaranteed a steady shot when a tripod is no place or to carry too heavy.

In my practical experience, you really need is always at least three types of tripods on long-distance travel:
1st to a min. 90 degree angled monopod, with a short extract from shoulder stand "misused"
2nd monopod with a maximum capacity, such as the Manfrotto 561 B or a greater variation on it as I use it as the Giotto MM9980 Monopod with Manfrotto 501 HDV Head
3rd a lightweight tripod for all cases as synonymous for self-portraits including acoustical coverage with longer cables to the camera or radio microphone.
Addendum: the 501 HDV Head can be had bending by 90 degrees. This one has, in conjunction with a solid monopod (without extension) at the same time a reasonably useful synonymous shoulder stand. The pole monopod is simply placed on the shoulder and are already so alone any serious wobbler as possible from ink more

I would always like to take synonymous as much as possible. If the thread creator is a long road and I can walk much either ih my first tip - recommend Bilora 936 PRO Manfrotto 561B monopod or. If main building with the car on the road and it only comes in a street near Tripod, you can take what synonymous heavier.

Deti It will give people the tow caravans and boats behind him .... ;-)
The work comes out of a passion. I enjoy the holiday time to be able to shoot what I want and the way I want it. Others play golf at 32 degrees in the nonexistent shade or torment themselves voluntarily climbed a mountain.
I do not stressful but turning from it. Odt I make simple time-lapse shots and we have spread out beside a picnic blanket and drinking white wine. The crane was a welcome with the test run for future shoots. But are very beautiful unique images of a Sardinian granite formation which would have been without a crane never achieved this effect. But it will certainly remain an exception - otherwise my girlfriend will beat me ;-)
But I am definitely someone who have professional experience and synonymous technology to use on vacation to make beautiful films. I once brought a HV30 in addition to the then XH A1. The lag after a single use only in the hotel room because I do not work with such a toy can (or will). I'd rather not.

Thanks, I think the Slik Sprint PRO EZ with Manfrotto 701HDV is okay for my purposes. With a monopod I come for night photos (T = 20s - 60 s) not watching, so it must have been a tripod. The Bilora 936 PRO is synonymous with 3 Kg okay. Perhaps even better (Just for my constellation: http://www.zizis-blog.com/TestBilora936.html). Looks like a Sachtler almost synonymous. This looks to me from walimex to Gandhi.
I will of one place to another with his car on the road, but have been synonymous in the U.S. much, much done on foot. So, I think it will be again. Under the weight I will not break even. Do strength training 2x a week. In NY and in the Nevada case I had zweitweise both cameras, five Lenses and the Manfrotto here. So go. Only this time I wanted to take what synonymous Ansziehen. :-), Not just the tripod. Advance is to send me something too delicate. New Zealand is already 'ne corner away.
A watertight HD ActionCam is synonymous with, but that goes in your pocket.
The Manfrotto 501 (plus LANC), I find the synonymous and super. I have already made numerous smooth panning with.

Good for you! But then where are the pictures that you do so spontaneously from shoulder? There is no time but mostly for setting up and leveling of a tripod.
