Even more of my old Handycam, I have a simple cheap Hama Tripod. If I now my Canon XL1S unpack it, tilt the tripod to almost any winds and shock ensures Wobbler.
Therefore, I urgently need a new tripod with a matching head. S.eine investment had increased by 250 euros thought.
Have a bit in the forum gewühlt, but apparently not the right place. Frequently, a Velbon 7000 recommended, but it seems to me a number too small for me.
What are your suggestions?

Stay therefore discarded offerings of 515/520/525/350 Manfrotto 503 with the head or something similar, although not as often synonymous in this price class emerge.
... What is here of the state: ... libec-stativ-th950 ... Libec Tripods-in tests have fairly well off and apparently offer a very good price-/Leistungsverhältnis. The TH950 in particular I do not know, but the price seems to be okay (BTW: For your reference to the Globalmediapro-price in the other thread and transit taxes, maybe inches, do not forget).

Hello,
According to manufacturer, the maximum load on the Velbon DV7000 at 4.5 kg. The XL-1S weighs my knowledge, about 1.5 to 2kg, so this tripod is absolutely sufficient for your camera should be.
The DV7000 is very stable and has a fixed state, which, however, synonymous in his weight of about 3.5 kilograms reflected.

Have ussynonymous the Velbon 7000 and my XH A1 and raufgepackt goes well, is not too small.
My Proposal is but a wolf metal line (see corresponding thread) costs about 130 ¬ and, a Manfrotto 701 head, the gibts synonymous around ¬ 90.
Bin with the combo very satisfied

A Manfrotto 501 or 503 head with matching legs, it should at least be (and even that is for most just a temporary solution ...) My advice is as always: Better a little and save a Vinten and Sachtler buy. In a tripod you just once in your entire movie experience investing and bottom line are you better off if you buy something sensible. At the end you land there anyway. Save your money for the Velbon, Wolf and consorts (s.besten synonymous for Manfrotto ...).

Please do not waste your money to get a Manfrotto 503 or 501 I can tell you, that you will be just be paying for the name ... The drift back on those heads are well know problems ... Sure Tripods most in this price range have a back-drift. But not all, the 38 does not Libec
For a budget of 250 Euros. Not much quality tripod that you can choose, but you can get a Libec th650. It not super, but it works with a XL1 ...

It is for me the Libec surely the best choice. Unfortunately it seems that in Germany to get nowhere. One was so times sold here in the forum, one I have on Ebay seen almost 370 Euro and that's it then ...

So far I went synonymous assume that Ianiro UK in the UK for Europe, responsible Libec importer and this is Japanese Tripods here is not easy to get. Velbon That would have been possible, I did it but then left because I personally had doubts. For precisely the same reason the Wolf resigned from metal, here, however, had other doubts. Manfrotto would be great, but in the combination 515/501 simply too expensive.
My favorite was and is the Libec 950th Unfortunately, I have synonymous after intensive search no seller in Germany found. I thought only the dealer from Cologne, but only had 650. This I liked but not really.
Since I am in 3 days Tripod needed, I am now driven to Saturn. The had a Manfrotto Tripod 055 XPROB and a Manfrotto 700 RC2 head since. After a bit of action I have the two together to get 240 euro.
The tripod extends from just thick. Goes up to 7kg, so loose enough for the head and XL1S. Good, the head could be better, but first he goes out. If I had to save something, I will me a 501er capita growth and perhaps even a ground spider. Think I am well prepared.
First tests today with the Cam and the Tripod confirm my decision. For me as a semi ranges from.

a 1-minute internet search on my part resulted in a price range of 66.54 EUR - 95,00 EUR, but your price is very realistic;)
