Hey,
I have for some time, my Velbon DV -7000 no longer used s.Wochenende unpacked and now it makes smacking noises with vertical and horizontal panning. Whether the fat or fluid is now probably too old? Has anyone ever had of you? Is it possible to disassemble the tripod and for example with silicone spray or silicone grease smear? What would be suitable here?

Open times all adjustment screws, and a new part of the alternate.
A 7000 run dry I've made consistently with Ballistol, then simple bearing grease with Ballistol made to run.
THIS IS A BASTELTIP, I would do it only if the box is really dry!
Problems with the Tripod hats never given should not be dependent than -25 ° kälter.

Makes my CX-686 (same head) synonymous, habs grade tested.
But only if the relatively strong damping sets.
I just found out what is synonymous, but the head is a little (minimal) mounted shaky. When shaking of the head you can hear the noise. Try time out, you'll remember / hear! ;-)
I've ever noticed not so that with the wobble.
Although, the DV -7000 songwriter so screwed.
