Hello,
Consumer Tip Velbon DV -7000 with lies about 100 ¬ but in your price range, but an XL2 is much too heavy for this tripod.
Then I find long a nothing more until we end up with around ¬ 600 for Manfrotto. Only during the trip you want synonymous nor a professional tripod carry around with you? - The well is running on a bad compromise also ...

unless you want to swirl that is relatively no preference.
Doing so could with the Manfrotto 450 EUR 501 to be, and has a Teflon damping is quite ok, if not synonymous true fluid head, a far cry from perfect, the moves. Or the introduction of Sachtler and Cartoni tripods for around 550 EUR, but have no counter balance. For really good pan you need a fluid head with perfect schten CB, the best P / L here the Cartoni Focus offers (approx 600), who has even a counter balance and adjustable damping. The part moves on Sachtler - level at 1 / 3 of the price.
Do you mind buying good and even a proper tripod + head, holds a life is long and still work well. The Billigkram is only frustration and s.end is more expensive, at least when important images are broken by fine Rucker.

Hello
I work with my XL2 for nearly 9 months with the Manfrotto 755B tripod, and the 503 fluid head, and can report nothing but positive about it. I paid about 800 francs. Nevertheless, I have always felt that this configuration is the absolute minimum that you need for an XL2! Believe me, do not you buy for $ 200 definitely not synonymous remotely useful for the XL2.
