Hello folks!

The Manfrotto head is larger and more stable, has a spring balance and can be meaningful fix. In this respect, it is worth its extra cost, if stability is in the foreground.
The fluid damping is, however, the Velbon head better, so that in case of doubt with the softer Velbon pan succeed (even diagonally).
I would buy the Velbon. Or you buy the head Velbon PH-368 individually and screw it to your existing tripod.
