Hi!
As you can see I am more in possession of ANY tripod.
And the holiday is imminent.

Velbon DV6000/7000. More can not be recommended in the price range and that's great!

Yes, I saw the good reviews on various sites on the DV6000/7000 Velbon tripods.
But the part weighs 3.5 kilograms!
My last woh 1kg or similar, and much more, it should not be synonymous.

I am (with the Velbon CX 686 completely satisfied, especially when traveling; 1500 gr)

The Vanguard has a 3 way head, which it says is a photo tripod without attenuation. A good tripod does have some weight so that it has a firm footing. The CX686 had myself and was quite happy with it.
However, it has sometimes wobbled but, because the tripod is not really stability during standing. So the legs wobbled.
