Frage von Dusty80:Hi
I'm just about to finally digitize all my old video tapes.
Because memory was never so cheap as now, I have
just decided to play all the videos 1-1 times on a hard drive.
1 hour = 12 gigabytes
I would not compress the video because I might
later (when I'm retired or something :-) even with a
Editing want to work program.
The problem is, I do not know yet what a
Editing program I would use later times.
On the question of whether I type 1 or type 2 videos with
to play on the HD, I came to this Post:
Type 1 = Audio - Video Stream and nested
Type-2 = Audio - and video stream into one another and also nested again in a separate audio stream
Of choice depends on your editing program. For example, Ulead preferred Type 1, preferably Adobe Type-2. http://www.slashcam.de/info/ DV TYP1 - amp - DV-TYPE2-is where-the-difference - 150356.html
I now sometimes with type2 started, because there's the audio
again in a separate stream, which may
the compatibility increases to cut programs.
Have a video views with Cubase and Windows Movie Maker opens.
If Movie Maker does not shut it in Cubase and the sound could not
be imported. Ok, this test is not relevant,
I would use either of these Programs.
But now I'm skeptical whether type2 really the right choice is
but when these two very common problems already Programs
to have.
How would you copy it (type 1 or type 2) if you do not know
with which program you later times will edit the video? Am very grateful for any advice.
Cheers
