Warm "Hello",
have after a long time again a question.
In film editing with MSP 7 (I use only 5 years), there was the assembly of the last film 2 "crashes?" By all the windows were white (content disappeared).
After calling the new video editor, everything was OK again - could work next.
When almost ready assembled film, there was another such incident. This time I had, however, the film is not called again, but the PC down, because "enough for today."
Unfortunately, then s.nächsten day the File no longer in the directory.
With the search it was found, but it is no longer open.
All other files are normally open - synonymous to the previously created,
not yet rendered part.
It shows: "file format is not supported." What, please, can I do?

The DVP-files all say we are 10 minutes (including a LW), in addition to secure.
Since MSP is no longer being developed and next s.Corel was sold
it is not synonymous product development more SORRY.
In your case, it is very likely
the file that you just can not open.

After the savings you research, you can get it to 99% bicht more open.
I read you have luck, you have other project stands.
The only thing opposed to 95% helps: The Automatic Save OFF. Afterwards, I had never had the problem.
And now do not laugh: Do you have Excel?
To me, I have a backup routine written. Every time I save the project, the routine automatically copied to the File DVP into a backup folder.
As I said no Excel OpenOffice.

Did not expect that I am after about 5 years and many shooting (often up to 80 minutes = full DVD) without previous incident erwischt now!
Thanks for the link - had prior to my request for help be trimmed - but nothing - but interesting.
Unfortunately I only have little knowledge of PCs and need in such situations necessarily help by "special".
What you write is my hope to restore the file, since it already with my particular program attempted an emergency. Because too little background knowledge, I can not understand that the DVP-file to find, with the large amount of data (665 KB) synonymous appears, but simply can not open.
If a tip, which in a reunion with my film - synonymous or not - I am in any case again.

There is a lack of data in the DVP, the MSP is expected, but has cleared and then abgeschmiert is. If reproducible, if automatic storage and start a preview of the TL meet.

that "Excel" or what we make a start and synonymous Backup routine for me, "secrets" are - alas! Excel is a spreadsheet program from Microsoft and is part of the Office package (World, Excel, Powerpoint - Access) An old version s.Office97 (1997) would suffice.
One can thus limited Programs / scripts to write.
= Backup software to copy your data making, usually for a specified time / interval. There are plenty to find.
I wanted to but something always a copy of a file created when the content changes.
(The other programs can be synonymous. Only in the period around and then to seek to try, I can be synonymous grad write times myself.)

Tabellenkalk. I have (but not really known the word Excel). Synonymous've already worked (but only in large tables, formulas themselves to calculation results immediately, when new values in the rows or columns to enter) - but nothing more.

One last question:
can be a software (such as MSP), by using "old"?
This idea came to me because I MSP 7.0 years without any disturbance used - but in recent times that there were minor crashes and again (and at least this large).
