Hello,
use to copy my mini dv videos ulead video Studio 9
I scan the band and then he starts synonymous already see at capture. However, the picture remains only very briefly, but annoying anyway, as it occurs as I said, at regular intervals.

But you have nothing to render if you just want to copy the tape! Test times with the freeware WinDV that can both capture replay as synonymous to tape. Of course, should be turned off during the Capturing and replay various background processes such as virus scanners, Internet, Indexing Service.
