Unkonvertierbar, barely legible, very precious -. Mov save!
Frage von s.holmes: Mai 2010
Hello
I have with Final Cut Pro Quicktime mov export one (the function menu at the top, not "Quicktime Conversion") = 750MB 5min.
The Mac on which I've cut it, and the raw material is no longer available.
Now this file on my Windows-only Lenovo and readable with VLC with no other player or converter. Does anyone know a way to save the video?
The experiments have to shut with the VLC conversion tool is powerful only further miscarriages. However, I've used the settings there, more intuitive and less professional.

Quicktime for Windows tried?
Antwort von s.holmes:
Yes. QT f W can not bear read, suggests additional downloads. Have on their trail and then on Page DivX few blocks K-Lite-downloaded codecs. Does nothing. With K-Lites but I do not deal with it.

Ahead, have some MPEG Streamclip
Antwort von B.DeKid:
So yes file can be played back? (Via VLC)
Take time MPEGStreamclip and convertible in the file to mov H264.
Otherwise lad time and download MEDIA INFO let's say you spend exactly () what you have available for a file - thank you.

PS:! And always make a copy of the file before you convert, please!

Times tried to use the INTERNAL coder of VLC? The files can umkonvertieren synonymous in the other, more readable format. If I think about "export as" or it is hidden in the "streaming" Wizard. Just kucken times. Not many know that the VLC has ne Exportierfunktion synonymous.
Otherwise, always try next with all sorts of what the market offers. FFMPEG, VirtualHub, ProCoder, SUPER ... or synonymous and so next time try the file directly s.Mac ...
If all else fails, play the movie with VLC and then with NEM screen recorder to record in the window let (uncompressed of course ).... war as somehow synonymous NEN precious treasure saved yet.

You have this terrible Quicktime HDV - that's insane problematic.
Take yourself a Final Cut Pro system and throw the file in there - so maybe it will work (the Resolutiondes clips seems to be not just HDV - that could cause problems).
Otherwise, post your email in here but once in order to contact you.

||||| In between a s.euch Thanks for the general knowledge for Digital Video valuable advice. |||||
So, as I said above, I have tried the VLC conversion tool and it comes with garbage out synonymous. What exactly would you set the? I had at & Convert - part of the window "Settings" in the "Profile" "Video - H.264 + AAC (TS). Others are then "Video -" Dirac "or" MPEG-2 ", etc. I'm h264 would be the best. Under "Edit Profile" can be synonymous tune a lot.
For the other converters: if, as MPEGStreamclip based on Quicktime and other players that have not been packed - it makes no sense to use them. Which one brings its own codec stuff-Super-Cracker?
The stuff is part of a short film that is otherwise in a very high Resolutionproduziert. So it would screen from filming a trick that bad fits into the overall concept.

Is-awful. Had me with all the settings in Final Cut Pro lost.
If the file is imported into Final Cut Pro, it takes the sound but not the Picture.
Otherwise I am, as I said, a ne'er-do-Windows and wills have further process as synonymous.

Thank you, the culprit is found. I'll make time for a new topic because there is apparently nothing to help German.
