Hello!
I have an Archos 704 WiFi Media Player (plays all popular media files s.and is synonymous TV shows to) get a gift. Since I have little sense in the device can see, because I do have a good notebook, I wonder whether it is possible, perhaps the thing as an external display s.meiner XH A1 use. Among you are many hobbyist and this is perhaps what someone of you. The thing costs about 400 EUR. Information:

Yes, it works.
You need to:
1) 1 x camcorder with AV-out (eg, XH-A1)
2) 1 x Canon AV Cable (9 mm AV jack to RCA Video - Yellow) - is
3) 1 x RCA connectors (20 cents at reichelt.de)
4) 1 x Archos AV-in cable (included with the Travel Adapter included)
5) An Archos Travel Adapter (40 EUR) with AV-in and power input
6), Archos 704 WiFi Media Player (7 "diagonal screen, 40 GB disk, about 380 EUR)
(7), if necessary, the adapter for the Archos.
In order as listed (see Picture 1) stuck together. Camera start archos start on the Archos recording (Rec) from the main menu select -> camera image with minimal delay to the Archos. That is of course synonymous a recording of the ones filmed on the HDD Archos possible. You can still view mode select ud adjust accordingly. synonymous recording a time is there.
Per WLAN is unfortunately not the video transfer. And I will not deny that the Archos Picture not quite as sharp as the camera display.
Voila: A relative low-budget Off-Cam display with touch screen and recording, but only 800x480 (= 384,000) vs. screen points. camera display with 2.8 "and 207,000 (equivalent to approximately 800x 260) pixels.
