I have a problem. for a media studies homework has me by a friend from england four hours of a news program was added, which will now be analyzed of me.
Now, was damaged in transit with the Post, the VHS tape inside so strong that it does not work anymore. To save the patient too, and so the artwork (I do not usually come s.diese broadcast!) So I have screwed the tape and I immediately fell forward some items.
Has anyone done this before and know how to properly go together again - or I'll bring the tape to another cassette can. After that I will then capture and burn to DVD. It can not go on like this ...
So if anyone of you know there has or knows of a link in the network where such a thing is described (with graphics?), I'd be very happy.
Best Regards desperate! superloony

Hello,
I have already planted the synonymous of a VHS tape into a new housing. Is not a problem. However some time ago, so I have the parts now, not in the head. The best you take the existence of a functioning cassette, screw on it, or you realize how to paint the tape on the different roles running. tape out, insert a new tape and screw it guarantee high again. I am now assumed that the coil is wound onto which the tape is ok. If they are synonymous, of course, you have damaged tape to wrap the coils of the new cartridge. If the tape is cut and is easy to see how the tape s.der coil is attached.

Hi Volker!
Thanks for the tip with the coils - four hours anzuwickeln tape but can be quite tiring. This is a fun craft night :-)

Can you say so :-)
In Asia, these mechanical gibts rewinder for cassettes, but I've never seen us. In any case, you should be in accordance with the winding on the new coil (if the need should be) the tape in your VCR before playing a few times to get back and herspulen create a uniform belt tension, otherwise there may be poor quality, or in case of emergency come to Bandsalat.

So, it worked without major problems. At the beginning of the Picture have winced a bit back and forth, which is nothing more to see. Have the coils easily transplanted into a new housing ". Now is scanned, and then 4 hours to encode video into mpeg2 ... I'll take time to drink a coffee or two, or three
