Hi,
I want to digitize old VHS tapes and capture synonymous tv. (idea: erstmal with VDub plate vollrödeln 720 * 576, then xvid or similar coding)
problems with my old Hauppauge WinTV card: armed only capture attention with 720 * 288. Also I have a nasty high beep listen to very very bitter.
I buy ne new card? what? price is clear: good cheap.

for "good buy" I'm not the right person, since high-speed USB video grabber can make many problems (Picture-/Sound-Versatz, capturing MPEG2 only possible lack of compatibility, etc.).
For the digitization of VHS tapes speak (: analog Videozuspielung) You could be the external A / D converter

Wie gesagt, das ist nicht die billigst-mögliche Lösung, doch den Wandler kann ich guten Gewissens empfehlen. ;-)

With your old card that's really where it is still OK no problem. The light quality smears compared to an expensive solution for most people anyway not warnehmbar. Ever since the DVB-T there must be no more talk about it anyway .....
There is a freeware alternative drivers that you can use to offer more than the original Hauppauge Drivers.

I then use VDub and get only 720 * 288 (no preference what I'm set, I can not get more).
furthermore, a high-tone beep recorded (softly, but kriegste tinitus). Moreover, building and running ton apart something.
with the resolution, I could live, but the beep tone.
so I think s.neue hardware.
