Hello,
I beat myself for quite some time with the device ADS Tech Instant VideoMPX around in an attempt to VHS in a reasonable quality digitizer.
The included software Ulead Video Studio 9 SE was initially with a 30-day test for the recording codec in MPEG-2 equipment. The quality was not very, but at least somewhat acceptable.
After this period, I tried the codec on the Ulead Web site to purchase, but it was not possible. A request from the Ulead support is still in the queue (in between they sent me a new version of the program, with the link to the codec Purchase synonymous but not working).
For a while I then videos as MPEG-1 digitized, gruesome quality, which really just gave a preview file. Moreover, I could without the MPEG-2 codec not synonymous DVDs from the program to create. Recently (I think since I Ulead skillful of the new program version used) the program crashes regularly from before I started with the digitization of all can begin.
So I first tried Nero Vision Express - but apparently the hardware ADS Tech Instant VideoMPX not supported, at least, the capture function does not work (the device will be detected, but there are no receipts, which I can configure). Now I have a test version of the program, InterVideo WinDVR 3 downloaded. The device detects and receives an input signal synonymous (at least for Picture, Sound, there was not), but the capture function does not synonymous - I always get the message that the recording in this format of the hardware is not supported.
Has anyone experience with the ADS Tech Instant VideoMPX and can tell me what software I with reasonable results in the digitization of VHS and DVD on the issue have?

I fear that the software has little influence on the achievable quality of digitization. According to

Something I understand, but not quite:

That surprised me a bit because I am pretty sure that initially include MPEG-2 was 30 days until the test phase of the codec in Ulead Video Studio 9 SE had not yet expired. Unfortunately, the acquisition of this codec is not on the Ulead website and for response from Ulead support warte ich noch.
