I have a SonyDCR-HC1000E camcorder and I would like now with some of the old VHS video recording, which I later with PC could burn to DVD.
Where all good, but ... I schliesse camcorder with VHS video system together (S-video) and I am no warrior Picture on display when I press REC CTRL Cacorder of record and will start with only a gray Picture.
Why?

Hello,
a DVD recorder is no Y / C signal (= S-Video), but only composite (CVBS = = "yellow RCA connector). Take instead of the Y / C cable, a composite video cable, then the picture in color.
