I have here now a lot of posts relating to VHS Digitizer read. A few questions to me yet.
My starting point: VHS VCR (SCART output), graphics card with composite and S-video input, Panasonic NV-GS250 camcorder.
My questions: 1. The video footage that I would like Digitizer is only VHS. Does it make sense if I use the VHS via a S-VHS VCR via S-video in on my PC games? Is the quality better than if I am with my DVD recorder via the composite input record? The source material is always "just" VHS.
2. Since I had the opportunity on my camcorder to Digitizer, ie the signal durchzuschleifen, it makes more sense then using graphics card or via your camcorder to Digitizer? Or is it even better capture another variant, such as Dazzle Video Creator USB box to take?
3. Is that still capture with Virtual Dub s.besten? I've often used to convert into VideoCDs used. There are now perhaps better alternatives already synonymous (synonymous with costs, such as Magix Video Deluxe, Ulead, Adobe Premiere, Pinnacle, Nero Vision, etc.)?
Would really cool if I get a few tips and suggestions of you could get. Thanks again in advance!

Theoretically, if the SVHS recorder the better player, because the signal output at no additional Helligkeits-/Farbmodulation required. However, this difference in practice, not with each recording to identify. There are VHS recordings, which makes it simply no difference. - In the distance I can not logically be estimated.

Of all the options your camcorder produces the highest quality data: DV-AVI. That you are not synonymous certain software s.eine for further bound.

Hi Markus,
Thank you for your detailed reply. You've helped me a lot!
What I now totally new is that there are two types of AVI. Since I have here in the forum did not read over it. I find the right type because it is only by trial and error out? What is the type dependent? From the camcorder or editing of the program?

A camcorder generates no data, certainly not DV-AVI. DV-AVI is a video format for Windows PCs, which consists of a DV stream to a DV camcorder can be generated. This equation means that people believe in their camcorder would "DV-AVI files produced. DV is a stream which comes via firewire and nothing with the data format or the container later in the computer to do.

Simplified representations for more overview and a better understanding of any inaccuracies inevitably conclude with one. ;-)

Yes, thank you again! Have synonymous in the "simplified" variant understood! ;-)
Synonymous, since I use Magix Video Deluxe, the program will probably be the right type AVI to choose themselves. Then it is simplified! ;-)
