Frage von Lindner:Hello,
'm new and need help. If the post was already there, I apologize.
I try to convert a 240-min VHS material to MPEG. I used Magix Delux 2004th There, I've made on VHS recording of the following settings: MPEG2, 480x576, 6000 kb / s Audio 48KHz/192Kb/s.
Overnight, I took the calculator and run the tape. Morning (at 10:00 Clock), I then stopped the recording (in the sub-dialog I have the OK button pressed) Magix has changed in the timeline view. The progress bar in Magix has begun to grow and now, after 12 hours there is still "frame table for quick access to MPEG video files are created. Time 00:00:37.
In the task manager is using the Magix no feedback, but in the process table changes the memory usage steadily for Magix.
I do not if he still does not do, or should we run the process yet, he is now with the code?
Would be nice if I would get a little help when times.
I 2GHZ home is a calculator with 512MB memory, Windows XP
Antwort von Stefan:
I would stop and make it new.
I suspect that Magix cope with the host file because that has indeed taken behind the VHS tape end.
Your MPEG2 settings are made of the picture size for an SVCD. So you get about 35 minutes, plus or minus to a CD. From this perspective, it is no doll has a 240 mins Studio s.Stück too. You could include in appropriate portions and to convert to and after in MPEG2.
But the video bitrate is not suited to SVCD, but on DVD.
If you would like to have video DVDs, you need to make other settings for the image size (typically 720x576).
I would be in the direction of 2 DVDs for a VHS tape go so far as compression, that are recorded about 120 min / DVD.
If further questions arise, register again.
Good luck
