Hello, does not know more next. previously had a VCR With own S-Video and Sound outputs, connected via RCA - S-VHS cable and s.Canopus ADVC-50 and of there With Firewire DV cable to the PC. Magix Software VdL 2008th Has always worked well. Meanwhile, the VCR is broken, bought me a used (Panasonic NV-HD600), but who has only two Scart connections. With scart adapter (made switchable to A-and output, 3 RCA - and one S-Video connection) connect to Canopous converter - red and white RCA + S-VHS - and then pops up automatically recording dialogue of Magix VdL, but It is taken up nothing, neither picture nor sound. Finally, the program stops responding. 've Already bought new cable and a new scart adapter, no success. Obviously, the VCR is detected, because the drivers will be displayed in the Recording dialog. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for good hints.

Perhaps there is your new DVD recorder simply no picture via S-Video (or S-VHS) from.
If you take the whole normal Put composite (yellow RCA-Male), should come across a picture.
