Hey,
I know that much about the subject here but I have no right answer to my question.
I would like old VHS tapes to my PC and then burn to DVD. I have a Fujitsu Siemens Scaleo PC.
Dates:
graphics card: NVIDIA Geforce 7500 Le
Pentium (R) D CPU 2.80 GHz
1.00 GB of RAM
For the PC was even a video card cable. There are still 3 red plug on it (pr out) green (y-out) and blue (Pb out).
I have no TV card. Is it still possible, a VCR via scart s.meinen PC anzustecken and then mi8t Virtual Dub to make something that is about to play?
I hope you can help me next.

A / D converter buy (preferably small Canopus, if budget is limited) and then via firewire to the PC. And if you make it sound like, then you buy more suitable ala Adobe or similar software, early leave of s.die finger of Pinnacle or do you look at the free-DV-down version of AVID.
Experience shows that abendteuerliche structures, only to s.Ende EUR 2.50 save, make no sense. The "greed-is-cool mentality" is ultimately only for trade geil, but not for consumers!
