My graphics card (a Gigabyte 6600GT) has a Video Input (VIVO). With PowerDirector 3 ME (graphics card for this), I could always record TV program. Now I have the latest drivers of nvidia graphics card (version 162.18) installed. From Gigabyte directly, there is unfortunately no. Now works with the recording PowerDirector not. The program starts in, but the source of recording TV is no longer for Choice.
I then PowerDirector, graphics cards and WDM Drivers uninstalled and reinstalled again. Also the half not. The change to the original graph types and WDM Drivers synonymous brought nothing.
Installing the WDM driver (of the original CD or the latest version from the internet version 4:13 VIVO card for the 6 generation) had not been a single successful. When the installation is displayed each time that an error is made. Since then I added in the device manager under the audio - video - game controllers and two "unknown devices". Sub-Location: each NVIDIA GeForce 6600GT displayed. When status is always "... drivers for this device are not installed ... (code 28)". Many uninstall and reboot later, I really do not know more next.
The errors in the device manager disappear when I use the WDM drivers do. But how should the program use the video input, if the WDM driver is missing? The WDM Video Capture is surely needed.
Can someone please tell me what I can do or why the WDM drivers do not successfully install it? I use WinXP Professional with SP2.

The error message now always refers to the hardware component MEDIA. It has therefore appear that the parts "WDM Capture Driver" and "A / V Crossbar" are not affected. But what, then, is the hardware component MEDIA? Drivers that I could not find it. Hints are also not in forums.
