Hello,
I need to import VOB files of a DVD in Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5,
so I can edit them.
Unfortunately, this does not work directly, since the premiere
Vob files do not recognize.
How should I proceed as I can and with what program they
VOB files so they will recognize APP and can import?

so, here first time, the solution is ruled out simply to convert vob mpg, which is not funzt RICHITGE.
you only have the possibility to insert it right into premiere, when the first premiere mpg can cut, and dvd of you with the most popular DVD ripper to make a mpeg-file.
Now, of course, if one vob ac3-file contains, it must then be precisely synonymous nor converted into wav or mpa, so you have synonymous ton.

Is there really rip at a loss of quality?
Background: My father is now synonymous bought a camcorder. For executing one of the burning directly to DVD. Now, however, he looks jealous of me and my movies, because he no longer can make DV editing. But it would be a shame if it would come s.Qualität through the rip at a loss.

BUT: I know it now only of the Blue-ray of Sony XD Cams, because they save their files to MPEG2 synonymous, and still (is using Benefactor software) caused no loss of quality, at least not yet an (MPEG is indeed the Most already losing hard enough ;-))
So I think that Sony has since given any ne software so that the copy does not (yet!) By a rib-operation must be done!
Of course we have some rippers synonymous with the ability to not re-encode the file in MPEG, but directly into DV-AVI, or just in unkomprimieres AVI (which is very technically difficult ;-)) goes back to disk write. it is lossy, the file really hardly new.

my father (even amateur filmmakers) had asked me a few years ago, in my opinion on a particular Hi8 camcorder. In my test reports I researched, that that model is a typical representative of the temporarily passed Hi8 problems (drop-outs was). He did not hear clearly. He bought the unit anyway.
Later he had problems with it (which he did not want to admit it) and since then he has never once asked my opinion for or against a particular camcorder model. :-)
