I am using since 2 days Magix video de luxe plus 2007 (V 6.03.0). After importing a hard drive on the stored video file (vro, ca 18 min), the storyboard is displayed only about 46s. When playing, the beginning, about the middle and the end visible. During the import of Vob files from shooting or capturing a TV broadcast, this effect does not occur.
Medion computer with Pentium 4, Panasonic DVD Video Camera VDR-D250.

I have the same phenomenon with the recordings of SonyDCR-DVD505.
For me, there is that 16:9 is not recognized and Magix always reports that the recording is in 4:3.
Did this contact already synonymous with the support of Magix. Can next week, possibly even more to report.

Would be passable following way (until Magix has done his homework):
Vro file to Dgindex (http://neuron2.net/dgmpgdec/dgmpgdec.html) capture and there can demux (Sound / Picture separated).
The Mpeg2 audio / video files can then be separated into VDL capture and only have to be coupled.

I have the vro file after renaming a mpeg_Datei with an encoder in MPEG-DVD-PAL (Mastering)-changed files. This provides a m2v and wav file. This can be easily re-handling.
For me it is still unclear, the Magix video de luxe 2007, the VRO format only very limited and then imported incorrectly. My immediate question for the support, unfortunately, remained without result (until now!)

Then I can file without any problems with Magix video 2007 edit.

... and how you have them stored in Ulead 9? As MPG is not it? The file is saved as mpg car. Every single scene, which is recorded with the camcorder, it will be as mpg (serial number) stored.

I have time to test Pinnacle Studio V 10.7 with a vro.File fed. If you have "Import Title DVD" the importing of data organized succeed without problems. With courage, I then became a project put together and created a movie. Also burning to a DVD-RW succeeded smoothly.
The 2nd Reading about the way in Magix verkniffen I would go for a further reduction in quality by rendering Magix to circumvent.
Unfortunately Pinnacle Studio did not have such a wide range of machining possibilities of sound channels (eg: Audio Cleaning).

The solution to the problem already exists for some time. Unfortunately, I have to my questions no helpful reply.
In Magix support under Tips and tricks, the following is offered:
Error importing of. Vob or. Vro video files in Deluxe 2007
If you are importing of. Vob or. Vro video files in Deluxe 2007 problems with a short video track, not imported scenes or clips have black screen, please proceed as follows:
1. Import the appropriate file.
2. Click on the video track and select "create new frame table."
3. Wait until the process is finished and then select "Film close (Ctrl + F4)".
4. Open a new movie (Ctrl + N) and import the relevant file again. The error should now be resolved.
I did it in 2006/2007 VdL tested and it works!
