I generally have some problems with MPEG 2 in Vegas - "Custom" under "Render as" seems to be completely without function, if MPEG 2 is selected
DVDs can be used only by costly and split remuxxen as the source

The mpeg function is obviously not activated properly - simply sign up again at the SonyPage.
Vegas has with the loading and processing of mpegs no problems, but rather are indications that with the installed version, something is wrong.
