Although not officially supported, it should still go as long as the 32bit version of Vegas used.

I can not imagine almost that because 64 MB is not running. CS4 comes with problems on my 64bit synonymous Win7 Ihne.

Vista x64 to do ok (; has nothing with OS), but not 64-bit Vegas. Once you Vegas 32-bit used, it seems - Eureka - having VideoFX. So you should lose no time with "manual refill plug-ins folder" or "per rumpopeln regedit", ie the imposition of the usual tricks.
