Hi film lovers,
because I am now retired, I would like my older VHS video film editing and save on DVDs. I have gained the ADS Tech Instant DVD 2.0 package. The contained software like Capture Wizard, DVD MovieFactory, I'm coming fairly clear.
The program "Ulead VideoStudio 7 SE," I have trouble. When I edit a movie from the camcorder to the PC to dub this works. However, if I want to dub a film from the video recorder, I get the error message:
"Either no video capture drivers installed in your system or there is no device connected"
The appliance repair ADS-DVD player is connected exactly like me in the program "Movie Factory 2" which I have) videos directly transferred to DVD (without editing.
Can Leading with the program "VideoStudio 7 SE" only of a camcorder to edit movies?
What am I doing wrong?
My PC System: Windows XP, 1.87 GHz processor, 1.00 GB Ram
Since I am newbie here in the forum, I hope my concerns in the correct category set to have.

difficult sache das! if you have a VTR to have connected, this is more likely to be other than RCA, or analog connection happens. It is important to look at program-time only if xp detects the connected video equipment. if this works, is synonymous Uleadprogramm recognize the hardware.
Question: How is connected to the recorder and what?
Please explain exactly your situation, so what hardware has been connected where and how.
Second question: Has your xp recognized as a video recorder device?

Question 1:
VCR output jack s.Scart with SCART / RCA adapter (audio - video-out)
In. With 3 Series RCA Cable (1x Video, 2x Audio) in "ADS Tech Instant DVD 2.0" device, video and audio jacks
From, we call it, data processing device is a USB cable to the PC.
These connections when I work) to record programs with the "Capture Wizard" (video with ease and play or "DVD MovieFactory 2.1 SE" (without editing videos directly to CD or DVD burn) work.

I have this Soft.-and hardware package purchased new and I am of the opinion that the necessary drivers should be included on the supplied CDs.

And, unfortunately, another who has read on the package, how easy it is to turn a button on his old VHS through the USB interface into a DVD. It worked. Drivers find the I have found in the program. In the accompanying manual but it is called differently. I suspect that the manual is still of an earlier version of the program.

I've bought dat video express 8 of asd, as I've already read here, was well n dat wrong! ... as much as this if you legally acquire wat!
Oh well, have read above, someone has datt dat same problem, or had. I've downloaded dat patch synonymous. but unfortunately still funzt dat not always! still display the same error, "no video recording drivers installed"
wat the hardware is concerned, all other usb devices are recognized, not only this damned of asd! .... got disconnected, according to instructions for all other usb devices, minge weakened virus disabled, firewall is on dat same.
help for me, someone can fall datt, thanx!
