I have
- On a new pc with enough storage capacity, USB connection, such as fire wire, is running on xp
and a camcorder
- Sony HDD DCR-SR30
I like nothing big so just do the cut and cover sheets videas eg insert them to burn to CD-R
the two devices do I need to connect only with usb, as the camera does not hang up the wire has to fire (because HDD)
the material is synonymous to the pc .... it just can not handle
... microsoft movie maker reports a interface problem

First, it is a quality difference, DV video is now as high quality MPG.
DV video is inside the camera as a DV encoded video. Here is the recorded picture in the 1:5 compression factor and Picture in Picture for. When editing DV, you can easily cut s.jeder body.
MPG video is compressed in sogennaten GOP. Such a GOP consists of I, P, B pictures. Only the I frame contains comparable with the DV video to full resolution. P frames are saved only the changes since the frame I created. B frames and save changes back to your other pictures.
