Hello community!
I've had a huge problem and am truly fucked. As part of a semester project, a film rotated.
We rotated with a Panasonic HVX 200 to 720P. My photography has made probably a setting s.der Camera and 1080i of s.720P with 25 images / s connection. We have recorded via firewire with Adobe OnLocation.
Now the problem: OnLocation and in VLC player, the picture appears correctly, but the picture in Quicktime Player, Avid Media Composer as synonymous with Adobe Premiere, the picture is totally broken.

I've put a lot of money and effort in the Project. Professional actors, a camera crane, a mask, etc. And now is the imagery in the *****.
Are there any here in the forum, perhaps a video specialist who can help me? Maybe even in Cologne. I am willing to pay for the synonymous help! For I have the hope that is where the material still to save anything, because the picture with OnLocation and the VLC player is properly displayed.

If VLC can play the things, I guess the FFMPEG read the synonymous / bzw. can convert.
If you me one of the clips placed on a server, I can try some ...

The video is 25fps, the format will be displayed when you open but with DVC PRO HD 720p60. I am thinking, depending on the software used could be the problem.
Convert open and it could be here on the Windows Calculator.
What does the Compressor on the Mac to your material?

The clips are not broken, which use a codec called DVHP (Panasonic DVC Pro HD). The codec you obviously need to buy extra and install, has at least a short Google search results.

Apparently, Premiere has s.CS4 a codec for HD DVC PRo s.Bord, you have an older version?
However that may be synonymous, if you have a DVHP Quicktime codec install for you, it should work.

Hm, has, according to GSpot's 25fps, according FFMPEG 50fps. Strange. May be synonymous, of course, that you have the codec, but he did not get along with them. I can not understand because I do not have the codec, and not synonymous and synonymous premiere not a Mac:)

So in Edius as I can open the file - but not in Vegas. The stream is synonymous displayed in Edius as 16:9 960x720 - the stream type as DVC PRO HD 720 60p. I can also confirm what has been said here. It need the codec installed on your system, so that goes - and then gehts synonymous only in certain editing systems.
Even in my CS3 can not import the codec - so really either convert or go to a system which can handle it.

Thank s.euch all. I have tried it with the Compressor to Mac and I get the video image displayed correctly but the video does not run, but I just get a picture when paused (that is) to play at. Now I must confess to my shame that I've never understood how can I export a video of there. With the codec, I have not synonymous been successful. The test versions have zuindest not work. I, the cameraman, had a volontariat made in a commercial film agency and then decided for a design engineering degree in Picture and Sound. Unfortunately, we have we do not have HD cameras, but film holder, I just rotated in DV. My colleague (who Dirctor) is studying in Maastricht Comunication and Multimedia Design and has next Tuesday to present the rough cut for this Project and the deadline is synonymous short time later. At his university, there is just this HD camera, which we have used. Adobe OnLocation is a program that is available for CS4 for Mac is and what we have used the first in connection with the Camera and the University of Maastricht. So, without previous experience. On Location has shown the videos not only synonymous but wanted to play as shown, so that importing the error apparently happened, only with in Premiere. In our recent troubleshooting the problem is actually the combination of the program with this software. Anyone who may know details möchtwe happy to sign again. Our solution (currently) is called Monkey and video means a conversion. If anyone knows a better solution, I would still be grateful, but given the time constraints, we just make the conversion.

I'm with you of the provided Testfile synonymous only problems. Whether on a Mac or PC, with no preference whether Final Cut, Quicktime, MPEG Streamclip, Vegas or other programs - DVCPro HD codec available, video can be displayed synonymous, but everywhere I see the error of you described, and sometimes it comes in Playback of files even in a system crash.

Yes, yes, we were somewhat naive. Do the existing maps are not used, since I got the camera just before shooting began and has not been enough time to sit apart.
