Frage von Gerold111:Hello
I have a few days ago with a music video rotated friends.
We have while shooting the song from a CD player run so it on the video material is heard.
If I now post the mp3 file and the video track s.Anfang sync, I must sadly conclude that somehow the song is longer than the video recordings.
Because towards the end, it is suddenly completely moved!
Is this problem known?
Is there a solution?
Thank you, Gerold

So at Avid is aware of an issue that the batches and capture process is a time delay can give Avid because the time code only once on tape and then takes the internal time code weiterrechnet ..
But the description of your problem to me. What is the used software or hardware. So much information must be provided so as synonymous ne helpers have a chance to help ;-)

Antwort von thos-berlin:
Wandle times the MP3 into a WAV file with the video in the usual circles 48 kHz sample rate and try again.
If that does not help, with an audio software mp3 sound to adjust the length. That works quite well and should have little or no audible. I've already made my opinion with the free software Audacity, and was quite satisfied.
To determine the "crush factor" must be the three-pronged effort.
Antwort von rush:
cd = 44.1 kHz and for video is usually recorded in 48khz ... this could be offset as thos-berlin writes mean ... Therefore, sample-rate conversion
Antwort von david2:
Why is always on the sample rate rumgeritten (so synonymous

That is what makes the NLE when importing the MP3. If this would not work and the MP3 of the wrong sample rate would be played, so it would be a timing error of 10%, ie 18 seconds to 3 minutes. One would immediately synonymous hear that the MP3 is playing too fast.
I give my outpost right - this is s.ungenauen timing of the playback device for recording. The same problem has often synonymous with the use of an external audio recording device.
The solution is expected in time for the MP3 is Pitchung.

I had a similar problem recently when the recording of 2 YouTube movies using the Windows Media Encoder - ie in WMV format.
I had the sound recorded by getting the headphone output of the soundcard line-in with the association. When playing the files were gecaptureten Picture and sound synchronously, as well as when loading into the timeline of MAGIX VDL 2007 Plus.
After rendering - either in DV-AVI or MPEG-2 was the sound, however, in the 3-minute file for about 2 seconds too short, in the 8-minute file at about 10 seconds too long.
As I said in the two movies a time code is displayed, I was able to offset slightly the exact note.
I then with the object-stretch mouse VDL mode according to the soundtracks stretched and stretched and behold - after re-rendering the synchronicity was restored.
Perhaps the sledgehammer approach, but it worked.
