I have a very cryptic problem: I will be friends for Video8 movies digitizer.
Hi8/Video8 I have a Sony Camcorder TRV428E, fairly new, works well.
I can recognize the camcorder (analogue, PAL) via S-Video or Composite s.den Television and connect without problems, the tapes indicate. Equally easy to see the tapes on the LCD screen from the camcorder.
But if I now take the camcorder s.ein recording device (S-Video and Composite / RCA tried), I see first in the blue STOP camcorder-Picture. Pressures I PLAY, I do not see the movie, but nothing (it will appear shortly strips, then freeze). This I have tested with 2 grabber.
On my HDD recorder appears Picture, do something, namely 3 / 4 of the upper picture, the bottom quarter, however, is gray-black (looks like a tracking failure).
Has anyone any idea what a strange problem?
I will pay the first real solution to 15 euros by bank transfer as a recognition, as I already hours trying to persuade voted!
To summarize it again:
1. Camcorders OK
2. Recording devices OK (2x grabber, 1x HDD recorder)
3. What is going on with the bands that they appear on the television to play smoothly, but nicth to the recording equipment?

Possibly the wrong standard set? So look at the PAL / NTSC setting and check the frame rate (25fps for PAL and 29.97fps for NTSC).
