Hi I would like over the Christmas holidays several old Video8 tapes digitally archived.
As the old Video8 camcorder is broken, I have until now only the cartridges and a new PC with lots of memory and Firewire interface.
I wonder now what is the better alternative to possible to get "good" image quality.
to use s.Einen Digital8 camcorder (such as Song DCR-TRV480E) to transfer the movies to the PC.
b) a Hi8 camcorder s.einen video converter (such as Pinnacle Studio MovieBox plug) and thus the film digitizer.
If someone has a very different proposal, I would be very interested synonymous.

Please use the search function. The topic, which deals with the digitization of analog media, was here (and in other forums) to vomit over and over. You should find everything you need to know. Repeat themselves constantly having to make synonymous no fun ...
