Frage von Riker:Hello Forum!
I am writing here for the first time, then usually I get the desired answers using the search function ... not this time unfortunately.
Since few days I've dei of Fuji F30 and am thrilled. Above all, the quality of the video recordings is quite respectable.
Now I wanted to edit the Filmed with Pinnacle Studio 9 and get promt problems. The frame rate does not fit the program. The F30 also records video at 640x480 and at the with 30 frames per second. When I drag the movie to the storyboard, then the warning appears: "Add non-standard video frame rate added (30FPS). So I made myself smart and rausgefunden that Pal 25 and has Ntsc 29.97 FPS. Then I got with the help of After Effects to struggle on the FPS rate of 30 changed to 29.97 and tried again with Studio and it works! Unfortunately, the quality is now resolved ....
What am I doing wrong or could it be that I simply can not edit the videos with Pinnacle? Unfortunately, the camera does not offer the possibility to change the frame rate.
Forward to any help!
Gruß Peter

The Fuji-Digicams draw at 29.97 fps with anyway, because you need to convert anything. The clips are imported as they are, and then the whole project is usually treated in NTSC and regarded as synonymous to the PC monitor.
I think we can change the project properties, however, synonymous to 25 fps, then every 5 frames is omitted one. Does not look very good, pretty jerky.

Domain Hello, thanks for the answer!
When the Camera with 29.97 and the program takes to deal with why I get this error message? I have no conversion option of synonymous found 29.97 to 25 fps, but if the quality will suffer anyway, I do not want to switch synonymous.
Oh something else, when I look at the thumbnail look at Pinnacle of the original camera film, then there is missing around the bottom third of the picture. In the transformed version of me, I got 1st top right side, no error message "Incorrect Frame Rate" and 2 is the picture in the preview completely. Only in this way as additional info;)

Whether PS10.5 can handle it I do not know definitely, but with MAGIX is it, anyway.

You've selected a template with Pinnacle probably in 4:3 or 16:9, and Pinnacle has trimmed the clip above and below to fit him. Want to see everything, you get the side black bars.

Hi Peter S.!
Can not really be, because as I said, the camera takes up to 640x480, which is synonymous with 4:3. Therefore, that should really not be the reason.
Has anyone else tried to edit videos of ner digicam with Pinnacle to?

Can not really be, because as I said, the camera takes up to 640x480, which is synonymous with 4:3. Count for the times: A typical MiniDV Recording delivers 720 × 576 pixels. This results in what ratio? And as that becomes 4:3 or even 16:9?

Pixel Aspect Ratio / Picture aspect ratio Ok ok:) As you probably seem to be right, but it fit so well at 640x480. Well, no preference is synonymous, because it does not seem s.falschen format of the movie, but only s.den settings of Pinnacle to lie. The trial version of Magix fact is that as clear as Windows Movie Maker. Both represent the picture is completely, and generate an error.
Of course I have little desire to buy the expensive full version of Magix just for this purpose and Movie Maker is a real alternative Keien;) anyone know whether there when Studio9 what post?
Greetings and thanks for the previous answers!

In general, I would not advise you but really to look at the 640 * 480 NTSC video of Fuji as a real substitute for DV.
What is, however, can really make it very attractive on-screen slide shows with PIP `s the digicam.
There are specific MM-Programs to master this very well.

Hello Helmut,
Of course, the digicam in no way can compete with ner DV camera, but for my purposes, it is the right thing. It is very small and easily
And can with the help of a small Saugstativs virtually anywhere secure in the cockpit. Then you can make great shots from the most unlikely corners: D

I have the problem at the time synonymous with a friend has made his Sony camera synonymous perfect shot with 30 frames that I wanted to bring in.
Pinnacle arises as to truly stupid. He makes his films synonymous with Magix and is very satisfied.
Resembling to a problem I had with another film. Then a friend had made a digital recording, which you never get back and I absolutely had to incorporate into the film. In this case, I had 15 frames per second, and needed but 25 frames) (Because of the balance of video material. I asked synonymous many acquaintances and experts, but a real help was only VirtualDub, that you get so synonymous as freeware.
My problem is not necessarily the cost of Magix, but I have reingesteckt the movie (duration about 1 h) had a lot of work and do not want the entire time in Magix.
With the 30 frames I'm fighting at the time synonymous yet, but we'll see!
If there was something new here, I'd appreciate an answer.
