Huhu,
following problem. We have a Canon UC-X40Hi8 Camcoder. Due to an upcoming Canada trip, I wanted to know how the videos I recorded so I have to play on the computer and finally on dvd exile. : D And I really just need to know from the camcorder to Pc and then get the corresponding optimal DvD format.
Unfortunately, I have on the Canon page Page not found on the Cam.
It is analog, denk ich mal * ggg * Hi8 and connections as it has an S-video jack and this 3 times the normal output (R audio jack, video jack, audio jack L)
What I need now for cable around the adapter s.Pc and must meet requirements of Pc? What software do I need?

Perhaps, the camcorder before the journey to service again, though synonymous, of course, the question arises to what extent the still worth ...?!
