I already have quite a following problem and would love to talk about a happy solution:
If I were with Fraps (used the version 2.6, but the problem is synonymous with the other version) video recording (PAL resolution 640x480 @ 25fps) and this in Pinnacle Studio 10.5 import, the playback screen, green / black somewhere and then came time a Announcement that the Fraps codec is not supported ... Can we somehow change this, ie a plug-in download, etc.? If you have your video in S9 can invite, then enter the Rohvideo it as a DV-AVI from. This can then in DU S10 wonderful editing.
With the freeware tools such as YAAI you can determine which codec your Fraps video is based. I would at random's times on DIVX tap.
Other solution: you search a suitable converter program with which you made your Fraps video (codec?) A DV-AVI or MPEG2 machst.
The latter format dominated S10 quite reliable.

have you ever tried to Fraps AVI-Pros in Studio 9 to import of there with a different codec to export the new file and then 10.5 in the studio to cut?
