Hello,
Your description above after the camcorder is not connected with the Calculator. Connect the devices via Firewire cable.
Or you did not mention it? ;-)

nee was using usb cables! Then I began to search the forum and have found the one text where it became clear to me then the ichs times with fire wire should try!
