Hi Folks,
Once hello I'm the "new" :-).
First of all I would like to introduce myself. I am 44 years old and independently in the field of electro-acoustics. To be more precise. I develop different kinds, I am developing transducers for the automotive, Proaudio, multimedia, consumer, etc. industries. ;-) I am building but no boxes. So if someone has a problem only courage.
I have a problem. I have a graphics card (ATI Radeon X 850 XT) with all the bells and whistles. Among other things, this card has 2 inputs and synonymous although one Hosiden and an S-VHS.
Now, if I have a DV camera or a DVD player dranhängen, then I see nothing, or at the normal Programs such as Pinnacle Studio or Ulead PowerDirector you can see something but only as a preview in a small window.
There is no program with which one can only look on pc ?????? So a viewer?

you have a graphics card with the name VIVO (video in video out)?
Also noticed a combined graphics card with a TV card, then you'd have to actually have software. So synonymous TV software to aufnehemen. That is normally included.
For most graphics cards is the S-video plug only one output, so you can still join The televisions or so.
In addition, you have to note that it is not so easy is worth a DVD player then hang in the video, because all newer DVD are encoded with Macrovision, which prevents the DVD Copy similarly. For digital protection of the CSS provides protection.
Look after me if you have an integrated TV tuner card!

DVD player, DV camcorder, ... if it's just around the clean look of the images s.Computerbildschirm issue is the analog transmission okay. However, if images are processed by the DV tape, which would encourage the contribution described in the following way:

Even over Firewire, you can see the pictures from the camcorder as full screen:
