Hello!
First of all, I have not (probably) too much suspicion.
Calculator: AMD Athlon 3GH - 1 gig of RAM
So I created the xRecorder of Aopen. I combine this with my TV decoder ( "parallel to the Television") and can then program the TV with the included software synonymous good start.
Only: the software will store everything as MPEG (from 2) - for various reasons but I would like. AVI have what offers me the bundled software NOT.
So strictly brought into the www and VirtualDubMod.

And when I say "capture" the error messages are "found no recording device" and "found no matching drivers' (though I can take with the other software !!!!!!)
So when the latest Aopen Drivers (63 MB!) Installed -> no difference fetched.
VirtualDub you have to adjust to what, or what ?????
In some articles you read, you should install the driver taking his "Map" / activate .... which "map" - the xRecorder is an extra gadgets, which is connected via USB s.den Calculator.
Please, please help a 41 year old computer idiots :-(

VirtualDub, the problem is tackled. Starting with version 1.6 VirtualDub can both be regarded as synonymous VFW devices DirectShow devices. The choice of the correct unit is under File-> Capture AVI and there in the Device menu. There are still some limitations on the DirectShow devices, but I guess that is improving with each version of VD (current is now 1.6.11).
VirtualDubMod is dependent of many people who would bring the improvements of their own development, and Virtualdub. I doubt that the current VDMod has introduced version 1.6 of the above changes already. I recommend that you try to VD 1.6.11. Alternatively, you can, of course, synonymous to try some other capture programs.
