Frage von Mugnog:Since I erneurt the DivX codec, Virtual Dub now shows me the following error message in every film: video compression error: The source image format is not acceptable. (error code -2).
What am I doing wrong? So far, the cause was always good.
What's going on?
Thank you very much!

The question is, although several months old, but there seems to be few answers to.
The above-mentioned problem, I had synonymous - until now.
Look for what is in the DivX codec set for a certification profile. (probably by default "Home Theater Profile")
This profile supports a maximum of 720 pixels Picture-Width.
If the source material> 720 has pixel width, then of comes
Virtual Dub "video compression error: The source image format is not acceptable. (Error code -2)"
Remedy creates either cropping or resize or another profile.
