Frage von Starter:Hi,
I have made me a video on Youtube to make.
For my material (all with FX1 rotated), I have the following settings for VirtualDub "ergoogelt".
Video - Filters - Add = resize - width 448/height 252
Filter mode - bicubic
Video - compression - XVID MPEG4 codec
Target Quantizer - 2000 Kbps
What do you think? (In a Page I have read, "Target Quantizer - 1033Kbps.")
I am thankful for any corrections ...
A good start to the week you wish

Thanks for the complement :-) Mod)
But nobody seems to be interested ...

Well, then I'll try my luck: The image size is not optimal for YouTube. The type is 640 × 480 pixels before, right? And if an interlace video available, the deinterlacer is not forgotten (in this case before scaling).

The type is 640 × 480 pixels before, right? Hi Markus,
yes the "normal size" is 640x480 pixels, but I suppose with the FX1 in 16:9 format. When I with these values RESTRICT the video is downright "torn apart". So the 448x252 setting, then the display is 16:9.
The result (quality, if the definition of Youtube ever use it) is fairly decent, but I am happy to teach a lesson, because I still "fresh" in the video scene bin.
Nevertheless, many thanks for your reply.

Paperboard s.Dein 16:9 - video above and below black bars on it, so it is 4:3 letterbox. This can then with 640 × 480 pixels export without the image content is distorted.
Whether this is a better compression result leads to YouTube, I can not but you (probably) say. A small test with the same section could be the video but quickly clarified.

So now that I do not understand? What a Box?

Puuuuh ...
1. Video deinterlace
2. Video runterskalieren with the resize filter to 640x352 pixels (Aspect Ratio remove hoes!)
3. When you resize filter next below the letterbox option and click enter a new Resolution640x480
4. Export XviD (B-frames off quantizer to 2, single-pass)
5. Audio as MP3 (radium codec), 48000/44100khz, stereo, 128kbit

(Now I know what synonymous Letterboxing means ... but who is Julia ...)
