I cut a movie with Virtualdub. The original movie was 174 MB big save, after cutting and new it had grown to 15GB. How come?

Or just the wrong codec chosen, perhaps Huffyuv?

Hmpff ... I chose nothing myself. Assumed the default setting transfer the film 1:1. One should just never, never leave, never to programmers!

uncompressed ...
You should change the menu under video on direct stream copy, if you want to copy 1:1.
