I recently installed Vista and would like of course my Videocam next s.Computer operate. Unfortunately, the new operating system the "old" Drivers of the CD is not more. :-( Even an attempt installation as administrator failed.
Hence my question: One white, where there is actual video stream driver for the NV-GS400 and Vista are. Indeed, even on the Panasonic site, I have unfortunately found nothing. There is only one search result for the instruction manual, if one enters NV-GS400. Weak performance.
Thank you.

Take Firewire. That is now the only advantage over the USB cable. With Firewire you need no software to install and kanst the video with your normal average import program. I have a counter-question: Is the upgrade of XP to Vista for free?

except the tip, to firewire to grasp, I can not help you synonymous. Why is that necessarily USB? And above all: Why Vista when it's worked so far?

Antwort von Mike.:
The upgrade is FREE According to Microsoft, if one has XP. But pack a computer with 2.4 Gh and 512 Mb Ram? It has my and on the Microsoft home page is nothing about the system requirements. Can someone next to me help?

Even if I do not have XP and Vista does not want: I can hardly imagine! The upgraded version may be cheaper than a full version, but free? That does not fit in at Microsoft.

There is that one must buy it, when and under what circumstances, how much it costs, etc. Or what do you mean?

One point "Vista upgrade" I've just found this page like any other information about the supposedly free upgrade. Free is just an Upgrade Advisor (a program that you download in order first to find out if Vista would run the calculator). Conversely, an upgrade version you "purchase", which is not synonymous for a gift sounds.
