Frage von StefanB:Hi Folks,
which, as straightforward and fast tool (freeware) uses My to convert a DVD VOB Mpeg-steam of good quality in the computer code?
For DivX, xvid and all the others, I edit many found, but nothing for DV.
Thanks for answers

I'll take to VirtualDub. There are no special release with MPEG2 support. Then you can in all sorts of codec format change. Go zuck ruck!
Antwort von Peter S.:
Of the schmili described VirtualDub called VirtualDub Mod Version

I make it synonymous. However, I'll take the VirtualDub-MPEG2 Of Fcchandler. That is "fresher" than VirtualDubMod.
If you do that for the first time control with a small snippet of how the new DV material looks like on the TV. I had a spin in it promptly in the field order, which has led to terrible Geruckel in pans. Leno had the reingepfriemelt the DVD recorder in the recording.
Such spin can resolve www.neuron2.net with SwapFields (internal filter VD) or reverse (at). However, in VD that requires a full processing, with the conversion YUV => RGB => YUV and the known color problems.
Unfortunately I was pressed for time, otherwise I would have made correct the fields with Avisynth, which can quite work in the YUV color space, and only used for storing VD. Next time ..
Good luck

Hey,
argh, I do not get out? Have now downloaded VirtualDubMod 1.5.10.2 but come with the program is not really justified.
Because File> Open, because he wants not the VOB `s take??
Would be nice if I could help someone on the jumps.
I first tried it with DVD Decrypter and DVD2AVI, but moved here when EndAVI the film and takes on odd colors.
Antwort von jasmin61:
Ha, it works, with DVD Decrypter and then Virtual DubMod. Thanks anyway :-)
Antwort von StefanB:
Hi folks, I have a problem nonetheless. I had no time yet found it in Virtual Dub: Can I link two related vob files together to create a DV source file? Do I need another program, or is it with Virtual Dub? The problem that I have to find the most simple and good solution, with the synonymous third parties can work around this without technical knowledge.
Many thanks in advance
Antwort von Stefan:
Unfortunately that is not directly as in AVI files.
For AVI files, one can eg "Append AVI Segment" Merge other snippets.
There is a detour via Avisynth, but you'd have to first understand it myself (one way) and then explain to a third party (difficult).
Basically, you have to be a Avisynth script written that will open in VD. In VD does not realize that it with Avisynth of individual frames from the VOB files is operated (Avisynth as FrameMaker Server).
The preparation of Avisynth scripts can be automated with a batch file if you do not want to go through a text editor.
Good luck
