Positive:
s.gute Video Display
b) very good view JPG picture with variable insertion
c) recognized synonymous Panasonic AVCHD clips
d) recognized all MPEG2 clips
e) recognize synonymous SVCD files

Negative:

Have also still one of multimedia HD VERBATIM and IOMEGA tested. The folder structures were ok, corresponded to the structures Explorer s.PC.
Both saw no AVCHD, HDMI was not working, was not recognized SVCD, DVD menu structure sometimes not recognized. Overall, I liked the VERBATIM better.

But in comparison a very expensive system (300, - Euro up).

There were now just two updates for the WD Media Player, he even plays MOD files s.and HD data via HDMI without any problems, even all DVD images made no problem in playback.
The price-performance ratio ideal for real HD playback to LCD TVs.

Hi, I have the WD TV for about three months in operation and I absolutely love it. shows my HD videos in absolute top quality smooth and fluid on my 42 plasma.
Also slideshows or Mp3 - no problems and easy top.
Absolutely recommended

Charly The "HDMI Simply put" worked for me. My connection HDI s.LCD TV is ok but because of the HDMI video works flawless, have the same cable s.WD tried, but provides the only black Picture. Perhaps had the WD really a technical quirk times and I should try another device (which takes it back if it does not work, this is already something).
But still have a question about the folder-and file representation. Can the s.WD so that it is almost like in Windows Explorer does? Or does he always just the folder icons without lettering represent and only in the lower row the name of the folder or file you just "touched"? It does everything nice, but I was not very clear.

You can of course create your own folders and with titles or Sympolen provide, but really easy and totally looks not only beautiful, but synonymous works 100%.
But I have an external Fp of the WD (Book with 320 GB), but actually works with any external Fp.
I can do part really 100% recommend.
