Frage von strohy:I want my HDV material in the best possible quality and low memory consumption saving.
For demos of MS:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/musicandvideo/hdvideo/contentshowcase.aspx
require about 2 minutes WMVHD little more than 100 MB.
With what I would be super happy.
But I can still so many codecs for free. I never reach the quality and the small footprint.
For me, the video is even only much higher than the system than what MS offers.
How are these Encodes. What Do I need encoder, when I look at Premiere Pro2 a similar result would like to receive?

With what I would be super happy Hello,
the examples on the MS page are encoded as follows:
- 1280x720p with (approximately) 6.5 Mb
- 1920x1080p with (approximately) 8.4 Mb
To access these values to come so you have to be synonymous coding.
In Adobe Media Encoder presets are available this is 2 - WM9 720 25p and WM9 1080 25p. The you have to adapt (bitrate as above) - then you get the desired result of you.
Since the coding is fairly computationally intensive, I would only times with a 15sec clip durchtesten to a feeling for it.
