Frage von shipoffools:Hello,
I'm looking for audio software and plug-ins (VST) for Windows (XP) with semi-to professional in the field of noise reduction features to noise and to minimize removal of noise in dialogues, interviews, etc.
The purchase price should be "limited" hold (optimum freeware ;-).
My favorite would be the plugin "Ionizer" of Arboretum Systems. However, mainly on the Mac to be tailored. Unfortunately, the recent information that I have this plugin on the Internet have found from 2005. On the German side is found to almost nothing. Also the link to the homepage of Arboretum Systems (www.arboretum.com) does not work anymore. Another alleged link to this company refers to a Page, s.der since 2008 "built" is.
Perhaps, therefore, for me yes "Ionizer" of one or a few other questions:
Is it as synonymous Ionizer (VST) plug-in for Windows or the program is "hyper-engine" of Arboretum in which you can embed the Ionizer,
it for the Mac are synonymous for the Windows platform?
Does the company Arboretum Systems überhaupt noch?
If the plugin "Ionizer" still sold and if so, what does it cost today? (The final price from the year 2005, which I found was $ 399.)
What a low-cost or even at best, free alternative to the Ionizer?
What is concerning Rausch-/Nebengeräuschentfernung with Sound Forge from?
I would be grateful for synonymous references to VST plugins that halfway professional results in noise reduction and service similar to the Ionizer to handle.

PS: My current audio processing in the field above angegebnen I do mainly with Sony Vegas 7 and Audacity 1.3.7 beta (sensationell good noise removal for a freeware program).
Antwort von domain:
A professionally sensationally good noise removal is only necessary if you are already in the recording amateurmäßig up dillettantisch having been taken. In retrospect, there are only crutches. So what?
Antwort von smooth-appeal:
Because he is right, if you are not recording in the rough crap do you need in normal circumstances the maximum noise standard of your video program.
Before you software purchases, I would rather in better recording hardware or invest your optimized use (freeware ;-)
Zb. closer s.die sound source gain and with less work.
Since you first but the available material will save:
For Audacity gibts synonymous further free plug-ins, there are synonymous to some noise here. Sound Booth is synonymous is not bad, if the audio material is not to have been improper but that's still not free.

Everyone (and by that I mean every professional synonymous), it happens again, under conditions that he must approach, in which some noise hunderprozentig not be excluded. Be it whether in a live situation drüberfliegt an airplane or a loud truck passed or there are other noises that are synonymous with a still as close s.die incoming sound source herangebrachten Microphone can not hide. And even if the recording has the possibility to repeat noise are not always excluded. And in an interview or a similar live situation is synonymous nunmal not dubbing is possible. There are also plugins such as the "Ionizer" to effective noise reduction to achieve the equalizer with only with considerable effort. And you can hear and marvel: The Ionizer is for professionals who, because nobody's perfect!

I think that my "host hardware is more than useful for the semi-range: Sennheiser ME 66, Beyerdynamic MCE 72, Zoom H4 and several good to very good mixers. Also, I am the square distance law for the sound quite well known. But, as already written above. "Shit happens!" ... and it is not primarily about the noise reduction.
Nevertheless, thanks for the tip with Sound Booth, I will pursue the times.
