In slashCAM but everything remains free (no-budget) and the new slashCAM Academy is surely rather low-budget ... ;)
Also, I am preparing to back a flood of free articles for slashCAM. Everything remains as ever, it will tend to happen even more even more. And free. Promise!

'm not upset. I can entirely understand what has led to Slashcam Academy. Still plagued me a little melancholy, because with the Academy I believe will usher a new era in Slashcam. Respectively. I'm afraid that the spirit of Slashcam is lost and a part of the soul is sold (OK, now is something very theatrical now). I'm certainly not with the Comunity member with the many mega-Topics, but follow Slashcam now been about 5 years. And the foundation of the Academy is the most significant change since then. It is rather as if it is assumed an open-source project by a commercial company with a warning that the basic program is entirely free. But then when s.einer corner of Money, if only modestly synonymous can be earned, it's a matter of time, be placed in any corner of the Proritäten.

The Academy was originally planned as a free Project synonymous times, but we quickly realized that going with a 30-100 MB File Size of the file transfers into real money. As can quickly bring together 100-200 euros per month. So we will successfully by the Academy in any case, but after we have paid the authors and t-pay, cost recovery is announced only once (the T-Pay system is incidentally not synonymous for free).
Alone, we would all certainly not synonymous to lift, because we simply lack the time to continuously produce many more synonymous clips. Before we did not make it, we wanted to try it just anyway.
For this it is really much more effort to make a nice video tutorial, as time quickly formulate a response in the forum. Why not reward users that make this effort synonymous.
In no case is heralded by the Academy at slashcam a new era of pay-culture. Here is an investor but it is much more concerned slashcam for the community to make a facet richer. Not without reason, we have not integrated into the Academy synonymous slashcam, which would certainly lead to much more precisely to the start.
Look at the academy but simply as an external project. Although the lagging Comparison: OpenOffice is slashcam and who wants to have packaged it differently, buys staroffice:)

So I have a little idea of what to give publishers for books or cds (video tutorials) their authors - that usually happens around 10%. if the academy really (? there) 50% of the authors, then the null abzocke, but almost an equal partnership.
So do not complain, but to make only once reality check ...

Thank you for your comments. The posting did not look my s.der Academy as a critique of, rather than an oracle, which does not necessarily have to go into fulfillment (then also a charlatan ;-)

This is not the tutorials are free, so now next is no problem (especially since it really cost a fortune) - as long as the quality is right. But that should surely be able to judge the editorial Slashcam pretty good.
Rather a shame, I think the limitation on the payment methods. What do readers in Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg (like me) or other countries where German is synonymous time you read this?
In my opinion, because you miss quite a market!
