Hello community,
I've bought a used SG Blade. Three Lenses with fixed focal lengths (24, 50, 135). But I would also use a zoom lens. It should of course be a jack of all trades: high speed, 55-200mm as possible and formally free, or at least including bargain feeling.
Now I'm thinking about but the first time Lenses - in principle. If such weaknesses in different focal lengths (eg, sharpness and contrast loss, distortion, vignetting) due to the lower Resolutionvon HDV may be less or not visible? A photographic camera processes known s.Pixeln more than ten times.
Or I think about because of lack of knowledge Optics / technology completely wrong? Lens, cut, signaling, data processing, sensor technology, etc.
Is there maybe problems I better go out of the way? Or beginner's mistake in the choice that I could skip?

There is no 55-200mm zoom lens that's bright. RED is currently offering a 18-85mm f/2.9 at the same time costs $ 9,000 - actually a bargain.
As you probably the too much, look around for used with Nikon's manual Aperture, all that is <= 2.8 is basically usable, it - in principle - rather not, because at some point dimmed Optics sees the disk, usually s.Aperture 4. Therefore: hands off of All Time Low plan zoom. Otherwise, as always: The more expensive the better.

This all depends of the sensor size.
The smaller the sensor, the more likely it is to dissolve the cheap lenses camcorder ever 1080th Accordingly, it is synonymous not necessary to make that the main objective more than 30-40 lp / mm needs.

Therefore not synonymous Crop.
And the last lens to the disc derAbstand too corresponds to Focal.
From disc then act only the camcorder parameters.
So if everything is accurate, should be no frame loss.
Unless you change the format and the 35mm does not match exactly with the camcorder format.
